Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are between you and Kraft House ("we", "us", "our") for your use of the Kraft House website and services (the "Platform").

By browsing, creating an account, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms should be read with our Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy-policy.

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

Kraft House is a curated marketplace for handmade and artisan-led craft products, with a focus on Hyderabad and Indian makers.

We help you discover products, place orders, and communicate with makers on the Kraft House platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login and contact details secure.

One account per person: you may hold only one active Kraft House account. Creating additional accounts to evade a suspension, gain an unfair advantage, or mislead other users may result in disabling all related accounts.

Accurate profile and identity: do not create a false identity, impersonate another person, or maintain a profile on behalf of someone who is not you. Kraft House may require identity verification for any account.

Contact hello@krafthouse.in if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not share or transfer your account.

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose fraud or safety risk.

Descriptions, photos, prices, and delivery estimates come from sellers and may be curated by Kraft House.

Handmade items may vary slightly from photos in colour, size, or finish. That natural variation is not, by itself, a defect.

When you place an order, you offer to buy on the terms shown at checkout. An order is confirmed when payment succeeds and checks are complete.

Your purchase contract for the product is primarily with the seller. Kraft House operates the Platform and payment collection as described below.

Independent artisans: you acknowledge that sellers on Kraft House are independent artisans, not Kraft House employees or agents. You will not exercise supervision or control over how a seller performs custom work beyond the agreed specifications and any V1, V2, or Final approvals shown in your order.

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). GST and other applicable taxes may be shown or calculated at checkout.

Shipping and other fees, if any, are shown before you pay.

You pay through third-party payment providers (such as Razorpay). Their terms also apply.

Kraft House does not store your full card number, UPI PIN, or complete bank credentials.

Please pay only through Kraft House checkout — do not pay sellers directly off-platform.

Some items are made to order. Timelines and preview steps, if any, are shown in your order.

Custom items may have different cancellation or return rules, as shown at checkout or in your order confirmation.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary. Provide a complete, accurate address and reachable phone number.

Inspect your package on receipt. If it is damaged, photograph it and contact us promptly.

Eligibility depends on the product, customisation, and condition on delivery.

Contact hello@krafthouse.in with your order details and photos. Refunds, when approved, go back to your original payment method.

Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable Indian consumer law.

Booked visits or online consultations must be honoured by both parties where shown on the Platform.

Cancel or reschedule early if you cannot attend. Abuse or repeated no-shows may lead to restrictions.

Use messaging respectfully and for marketplace purposes.

Do not harass others, share off-platform payment details to evade the Platform, exchange personal contact details to bypass Platform rules, or post unlawful content.

File safety: you are responsible for scanning any files you send or receive through the Platform (in messages, custom-order previews, or consultation materials) for viruses or malware. Kraft House is not liable for damage caused by files exchanged between users.

We may restrict messaging that breaks these rules.

Review integrity: reviews must come from genuine completed orders.

Reviews found to be fabricated, incentivised, or coordinated to manipulate a seller's or Kraft House's reputation may be removed, and the responsible account or accounts may be suspended.

Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you give Kraft House about the Platform or its features may be used by Kraft House without compensation or obligation to implement them.

When Kraft House suspends an account, removes a listing, or withholds a payout for breach of these Terms, we will state the reason in writing where practicable.

You may appeal within six months of that notice by writing to hello@krafthouse.in. Kraft House will review the appeal and respond within a reasonable time.

Repeat infringer policy: Kraft House may permanently disable the account of any user found to have repeatedly infringed a third party's intellectual property rights.

Artists and crafters may apply to sell subject to Kraft House approval and verification.

Approved sellers accept separate Terms and Conditions during seller verification. Those terms are only between the Seller and Kraft House and cover seller obligations, identity checks, listings, orders, and commercial terms.

Commercial terms between Kraft House and sellers are not published on this public Terms and Conditions page.

Kraft House branding and site content (other than seller content) belong to us or our licensors.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact hello@krafthouse.in with details of the work and the alleged infringement.

Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights may be permanently disabled under our repeat infringer policy (see Enforcement, notice and appeal).

Do not use the Platform unlawfully, commit fraud, manipulate reviews, or attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kraft House is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Our aggregate liability for Platform-related claims is limited as permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana apply, subject to mandatory consumer forum rights.
